The Derroura Mountain Bike Trail has recently been opened at Derroura Mountain in Connemara. The 14 km long track is located approx. 7 kms to the West of Ougherard between the N59 and Lough Corrib, i.e. at the gateway to Connemara. The trails will offer you wonderful views north into the Maam valley and westwards to the Twelve Bens. The Derroura Mountain Bike Trail offers you some incredible mountain biking in some of the most spectacular senery in Connemara. You will face long climbs and thrilling descents with great views overlooking the entire of Lough Corrib from the half-way point of the trails.
