Coastal Drive from Bru na Boinne

Coastal Drive from Bru na Boinne via Drogheda, Termonfeckin, Clogherhead, Port Dunany, Annagasan and Castlebellingham. At Bru Na Boinne left at exit gate and follow signs for Drogheda. In Drogheda, with bus station on left, get into left hand lane and turn left. Go into right hand lane and cross the bridge. After Corrigan’s Pub (right hand side with large clock) turn right signposted (R166) to Termonfeckin. At Termonfeckin continue on the R166 up to Clogherhead. In the village of Clogherhead first right will take you down to the beach, (The little Strand). 2nd right will take you down to the pier. Returning to the village from beach or pier re-join R166 and take 1st right signposted Scenic Route along the coast road. This will take you past Port and Dunany point. Both of these have good beaches Continue on to Annagassan. This is a pretty seaside village. Travel on to Castlebellingham and join the M1.
