Every Thursday from 9.30am -2.30pm Kilkenny plays host to The Farmers Market. Farmhouse Cheese, goats cheese, fruit, vegetables, honey, organic meat, preserves, home-baked breads and cakes, fruit juice and salads. There are 233 farms and rural families in supplying produce to the weekly farmers market in Kilkenny. Here you will find fresh wholesome produce sourced mainly in County Kilkenny, produced with quality ingredients of known origin. Here you get to meet the local producers, have coffee or simply get a takeaway picnic for lunch in the park. Thursday mornings is buzzing with locals and tourists and definately worth a visit.
