Hold onto your socks and get ready for an action packed festival full to the brim with the weird, the wacky and the wonderful! With an attendance of 235,000 in 2012, the Laya Healthcare Street Performance World Championship is Ireland's second largest free family festival after St Patrick's Day. The Laya Healthcare Street Performance World Championship will transform Cork's St. Patrick's Street (20 - 21 July) into a giant magical playground for little kids, big kids and those of us who just never grew up! International street performers, family workshops, human statues, musicians, face painters, balloon modellers and food stalls. It packs in more fun than you can fit clowns in a mini! Every nook and cranny of the festival sites will be bursting with the spontaneous, the wacky and the amazing. Prepare to be flabbergasted!
