The two week festival provides shows & workshops to primary & secondary schools in Galway City & County. In 2012, 85 primary & 33 secondary schools received shows. The final day Exhibition is not to be missed, a great family day out with shows, workshops and demonstrations including Mr Bug, Bubble Magic & Sue McGrath's Chemistry show all held on the NUI Galway campus and exhibits by local companies, schools & educational authorities. The Festival aims to encourage students to study Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths by showcasing these subjects to the students and parents.
