This is a beautiful market town, built around the old railway and canal networks, it is surrounded by up to sixty lakes within a five radius and is ideally positioned to fish the Erne. Near Clones the river Finn moves slowly along the lily fringed marginstowards Annies Bridge. Here there is a rich fishery with good numbers of Pike, Roach, some Bream, Perch.
