Cobh Museum, in Cobh County Cork, is housed in the former Presbyterian Church overlooking the harbour. The main interior features of the church have survived including the pulpit, lectern, harmonium and original Bible. The exhibitions in the Museum reflect the social, maritime and cultural history of the town of Cobh, The Great Island, on which the town stands, and Cork Harbour. Exhibits include: paintings by famous marine artists, model ships, mementos of religious, musical, domestic and sporting life and numerous photographs. These exhibits afford unexpected glimpses of almost two centuries of the life of the town with three names, Cove, Queenstown and Cobh.
