The Free University of Ireland in Prussia Street runs an annual summer school concentrating each year on a different topic - last year, like many others, it was the 1798 Rebellion. This year's school has a particularly wide scope lectures on offer include"Plant lore and folk medicine" with Dr. Des Corrigan (TCD) "Traditional Song in Irish" with Dr. Rionach Un Ogain and "Women's Story Telling" with Eilis Ne Dhuibhne. Dr. Pat Wallace, director of the National Museum, will deliver the opening address.
