Blessington Sailing School

Blessington Sailing School provides water based sail training under the Irish Sailing Association, on the Baltyboys shore in County Wicklow. They provide syllabus levels one to four for juniors and adults in dinghies and catamarans. The school provides powerboat and safety boat training, with their shore-based training including first aid, navigation, boat maintenance, and health and safety. The school also has a workshop repair and maintenance facility for boats & engines.  The Blessington Lakes are a major attraction for water based sport and leisure pursuits. Their training activities provide a safe and properly managed outlet for this growing demand from the expanding population of the Blessington area and beyond. The School is continually creating & developing local awareness of the educational, sporting and social and employment facilities of the lakes. They also promotes the employment of local youth and students as instructors and trainees.
