Blasket Island Adventure Trips

Blasket Island Adventures are delighted to offer a unique 2/3 hour trip around the nine main islands. Remote, unspoilt and unpolluted, these islands are spectacularly beautiful. They are home to an incredible number of breeding seabirds, the surrounding seas are home to dolphins, porpoises, Atlantic seals and even the occasional whale or orca. The seals breed on the island beaches in September and October. Dolphins are regularly encountered. Inisvickilaun has a herd of Irish red deer and the project to reintroduce the Sea Eagle is ongoing. Tea, coffee and snacks are included. The boat is fully licensed by Department of the Marine. The trips are led by experienced guides. They recommend warm clothes, rain gear and sea sickness tablets if necessary.
