  • Directions: From Dublin airport take the MI ( Belfast ) and take the Slane exit. Go into the village of Slane, at traffic junction turn left onto N2 (Dublin). Take second left, this is clearly signposted Newgrange - Bru Na Boinne. Visitor’s Centre about two miles, entrance on left. Alternative route from Dublin, take the N2 (Derry road), by pass Ashbourne,. Continue on towards Slane , Newgrange Bru Na Boinne clearly signposted to the right off N2. From Belfast take MI to Lisburn, then AI to Newry, continue on AI which joins the MI at Newry. Continue southward on MI and take the Slane exit. Go into village of Slane and turn left onto N2, take second left signposted Newgrange - Bru Na Boinne. From Navan take N51 into Slane, at traffic junction in Slane turn right onto N2 and take second left signposted Newgrange - Bru Na Boinne. Sat Nav: The Sat Nav Coodinates for the Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre are Latitude 53.694567 and Longitude -6.4463

Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre (Newgrange and Knowth)

Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre, in Donore, County Meath, interprets the Neolithic monuments of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth. The extensive exhibition includes a full scale replica of the chamber at the World Heritage Site of Newgrange, as well as a full model of one of the smaller tombs at Knowth. All admissions to Newgrange and Knowth are through the visitor centre, there is no direct access to these monuments. Visitors are brought from the visitor centre to the monuments by shuttle bus. This is a very busy site and visitors may experience a delay during the summer months.
