Connemara Smokehouse

Add to My Ireland Ballyconneely Galway - Ireland West

Connemara Smokehouse specialises in high-quality seafood, where every product is produced by traditional methods. On a Smokehouse tour, capture the pride the owners have in their product - the range includes smoked and marinaded wild and organic salmon, in addition to their unique smoked tuna. Then watch as the filleting, preparation and packing methods are demonstrated. Learn also about the various smoking methods and enjoy a taste of delicious smoked salmon. With an emphasis on freshness, seasonality, sustainability and organic production methods, the Connemara Smokehouse range has also garnered a series of accolades. These include awards from the Bridgestone Guide, Great Taste Awards, BBC Good Food Show and Good Food Ireland organisations. The Connemara Smokehouse range, available to both personal callers and by mail order, also features as one of Rick Stein's Super Heroes, in his "Food Heroes" book. Connemara Smokehouse is located in Ballyconneely, County Galway, which is a small village, 10km South of Clifden, the capital of Connemara.
