Mourne Textiles was set up in 1954 by Gerd Hay-Edie. It is a handloom weaving workshop producing tweeds, rugs, cushions, tablemats and furnishing fabrics. Work can be seen in progress on all of the nine looms which are in continual action. Designer/Weavers Karen Hay-Edie and Leondra Dand also run weaving courses.
