The little island of Inishbofin, off the coast of Galway, has a strong sense of community and culture and a penchant for traditional Irish music, song and dance. It’s also a good place to come and be active – whether you prefer to snorkel or dive in crystal clear seas, do a spot of angling or get your boots on for some hill walking and hiking. This trail makes for a good, easy introduction to the island, taking you along the shore, past an amazing sea cave and along a ‘green road’ with views towards the neighbouring island of Inishark and the Galway mainland.
