This hugely popular festival has been going since 1967. Walkers love the routes, which include 10-40km options along small roads plus cross country rambles. But even more than that, they love the sense of camaraderie amongst people attending from all around the globe, including many walking groups. Military marchers from overseas join in and the sight of them holding their international flags high above the remote terrain is both weird and wonderful!
