The Island Golf Club
Established in 1890, this challenging links course, just 15 minutes from Dublin Airport, is across the estuary from the quaint fishing village of Malahide and was, until the 1970s, only accessible by boat. It has a unique setting, surrounded by sea on three sides and by spectacular sand dunes which, during the spring and summer, are dotted with wild flowers. The course really is a feast for all the senses and for those looking for a sporting challenge.
Directions :
Follow signs for the M1north then leave at the Donabate exit. At the roundabout take the third exit and take the second exit at the next roundabout. Pass Newbridge House on your left, take the second right turn and follow the road around you will see the club on the right hand side.
