Carlow Golf Club
The 18 hole Deerpark course opened in 1899 and makes full use of the gentle rolling hills, trees and heathland. Meanwhile, the nine hole Oakpark course opened over one hundred years later in 2002. Both have plenty of tricky shots to keep you on your toes, and their own unique character – so much so, Christy O’Connor Snr voted the par four 16th one of his ‘best 18 holes anywhere’.
