The Old Course here is in a fabulous location, hugging the shoreline on the Atlantic edge of the Inishowen Peninsula. It’s a favourite with Nick Faldo who helped to upgrade it in 2003. This is pure old-fashioned links golf, wild and demanding – particularly the par three 5th hole, called ‘The Tank’. The newer Glashedy course is also well worth playing while you’re here.
