Opened in 1991 with a match featuring golfing legends Christy O'Connor Sr. and course designer Jack Nicklaus, the beautiful and challenging Mount Juliet course has established itself as a premier golfing venue for top professional and leisure golfers worldwide. Venue for Irish Opens in 1993, 1994 and 1995, three Masters green jacket winners have won here, Faldo, Langer, and Olazabal. Mount Juliet welcomed the World's Top 50 golfers to play in the World Golf Championship – American Express Championship in 2002 and again in 2004.
