Ballybunion Golf Club
When US star Tom Watson played Ballybunion links on a private visit in 1981 he rated it as one of the best in the world. He has been unrelenting in his support of Ballybunion as the pinnacle of the world’s links golf experiences ever since. By any standards, Ballybunion is a formidable test even when the wind is not blowing. Its layout demands long and accurate shots to narrowly trapped greens.
