Make us your first stop in Portaferry for all you need to know about places to visit, where to stay, local events and where to eat during your visit to the Ards Borough.
Situated within the walls of Portaferry Castle, overlooking scenic Strangford Lough and within a short walk from the town centre, the Tourist Information Centre provides you with local and national tourist information, an accommodation booking service, fax and photocopying service. The centre also has a wide range of souvenirs for sale.
The Centre is home to the Loft Gallery and the well established "Art in the Loft" exhibition series which showcases the work of a wide range of artists, craftspeople and designer makers from the Borough and beyond. As part of the exhibition series, we also offer a range of workshops. Further programme details are available by contacting the centre.
Lift access is available to the upper floor.
