Newbridge is a large commercial town with plenty of shops, coffee shops, restaurants, hotels and pubs. The town offers a great nightlife, especially with the addition of a new arts centre in the town. The centre hosts a wide range of plays & other stage performances. Also it is an ideal venue as an art gallery and an exhibition centre. For those interested in tracing their ancestral roots one should visit the county library. Newbridge is situated on the River Liffey thus it is a perfect place for the angling tourist. For a lively and entertaining night out on the town a visit to the county's only Greyhound Track is highly recommended.
