Killimer —County Clare

This village is the terminal for the Killimer-Tarbert car ferry linking Clare with Tarbert in Co. Kerry. It saves the traveller over 85 miles by avoiding the trip around the estuary via Limerick. The car ferry operates daily, year round, every hour on the hour and the crossing is approx twenty minutes. No reservations are necessary. Fares are paid on the ferry.
