Day One – Dublin-Wicklow

  1. Leave Dublin and head south into the Wicklow Mountainstowards the pretty village of Enniskerry. You can stop here and have a wander around the shops or enjoy a cup of coffee before heading on to the nearby Powerscourt Estate  and Gardens, which boasts the highest waterfall in Irelandand magnificent gardens throughout the year.
  2. Continue the tour via the exceptionally beautiful Sally Gap towards Glendalough, one of the most picturesque glens of County Wicklow with its sixth-century St. Kevin’s Monastery.
  3. Travel on through Rathdrum to Avoca  (home of the very popular café and craft shop, Avoca Handweavers), then to the coast and the popular holiday resort of Arklow.

Day Two – Wicklow-Dublin

  1. From Arklow drive north to Wicklow town and enjoy the sweeping views over the bay.
  2. Just north of Wicklow is the beautiful Mount Usher Gardens  near Ashford, which is open from March to September.
  3. Continue on through the rugged Devil’s Glen through Greystones and Bray, overlooked by Bray Head and the Great Sugar Loaf Mountain.
  4. Head back to Dublin through Killiney, where you can enjoy exceptional views and marvel at the stunning houses along Vico Road, where many of Dublin’s millionaires live, including Bono and Enya. Make sure to stop off in the very pretty fishing village of Dalkey  before heading back to Dublincity.
