The Cave Hill in Belfast is thought to have provided inspiration to author Jonathan Swift for his famous novel Gulliver’s Travels. The top of Cave Hill is known as “Napoleon’s Nose” and bears resemblance to a giant sleeping on his back – just like the sleeping giant in Swift’s novel.
