Portaferry Down - Northern Ireland

This is a 3 bedroomed (1 x double and 2 x single) house (10 years old) with living room and kitchen (well equiped) upstairs (bedrooms and bathroom and separate toilet downstairs) with views of the Irish Sea (balcony off living room, seats two).

There is plenty of car parking space and the house is just across the road from Cloughey beach, less than 5 minutes walk away, it is a long white sandy beach and is great for children. There are many other smaller pretty beaches within a few miles of Cloughey. The drive round the coast to Donaghadee through all the pretty little towns (Ballyhalbert etc) is breathtaking. There are good pub restaurants close by eg. The Salt Water Brig (they have a pizza delivery service) and the Aquarium is 5-6 miles away in Portaferry.

You can eat in the Portaferry Hotel or take the Ferry over to Strangford and eat there or visit Castle Ward (3-4 miles from Strangford) which is amazing with it's beautiful walks, souvenir shop and bistro.

The area is peaceful and friendly, you will not be disappointed.
