Knee Hi Farm is a bright and spacious self-catering house on a working, free-range farm. A four-star accommodation, it is located less than 1km from the picturesque village of Collinstown, County Westmeath, and is a perfect base for anyone visiting family and friends in the area. The farmhouse is a modernised traditional cottage and extends more than 150 square metres with a large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, as well as high ceilings and beautiful views. The house is suitable for up to seven people, as it has three double bedrooms, one single bedroom and three bathrooms, two of which are ensuite. It also contains a utility room. The 7-hectare farm enjoys a large frontage onto Lough Lene, a Blue Flag lake with ‘gin clear’ water and great fish stocks. Lough Lene is famous for fly fishing and has a natural head of wild brown trout (in season) and good pike fishing all year round. Guests can enjoy fishing from the lake shore or take the boat out and tour the lake. Daily membership for the lake can be purchased in the village shop. Knee Hi Farm is also close to Lough Derravaragh (9km), Lough Owel (19km) and Lough Ree (50km). In addition to fishing, guests can enjoy golf, horse riding, and visits to local historic gardens and archaeological sites.
