The Farm Cottages holiday accommodation is situated in a haven of beauty and tranquillity, where the pace of life is a little bit slower. The three cottages are located on a working farm near the charming village of Castletownroche, which offers a choice of pubs and a restaurant. Guests are welcome to take in the sights and sounds of the farm with free tours during their visit. On arrival, guests of The Farm Cottages are greeted with a tea tray and home baking, as well as a starter supply of coal and logs. Rock is a three-bedroom, disabled friendly cottage that was built in 1999. The cottage combines old-world charm and modern convenience. Enjoy the evening sun on the patio, or the comfort of the conservatory on cooler days. The family room commands a breathtaking view of the valley and mountains. The bedrooms, meanwhile, are designed with comfort in mind. The double room is soft and feminine. The twin room has early 1900s iron beds, modern bedding and wash basin. The master bedroom is ensuite. The separate shower room is disabled friendly and flat-floored with adjustable wall seat. The property also includes a children’s playground, tennis court, barbecue and conservatory/games room with pool table. During their stay, visitors can enjoy golfing, clay pigeon shooting, wake boarding, mountain biking, horse riding, angling and much more. The Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Centre is just 15 minutes away from the cottages. The Farm Cottages were winners of the Rural Tourism Awards in 2000. Paypal accepted.
