It is located only 40 minutes north of Dublin Airport outside of the village of Slane, Co. Meath. Tankardstown House offers 18 luxurious double bedrooms, six of which are heritage bedrooms situated in the main house, with additional accommodation in the courtyard suites that surround a tranquil fountain in the old stables. The entire house is also available for rent on an exclusive basis for special occasions. Guests can enjoy dinner at the Brabazon Restaurant situated a short stroll down the courtyard or in the more casual Bistro with its cellar bar. There is extensive parkland to explore as well as a walled garden, all weather tennis court and fitness room. For a little luxury there are hot tubs and pampering treatments available. Going further afield the walking guides at Tankardstown can escort groups to various areas of Meath, Louth and Bangor to enjoy the stunning scenery and challenging hikes that these counties have to offer. Slane Castle, renowned worldwide for the annual rock concerts held in the natural amphitheatre in front of the Castle, is nearby and the ancient passage-grave or passage-tomb of Newgrange is only a ten minute drive away.
