Lakeview Holiday Cottages is a stylish development of three-bedroom town houses located just a short stroll from vibrant Killaloe, County Clare. Each of the houses includes a double ensuite and a twin room as well as a family bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, shower room and double bedroom. There is also an on-site play area for toddlers. The development, a property of Trident Holiday Homes, is idyllically situated on the banks of Lough Derg, only a short walk from Killaloe, with its many pubs and restaurants. Boats and cruisers can be hired locally to explore the lake, which is ideal for water sports. The UL Activity Centre, located just 10 minutes along the lakeshore from the holiday homes, offers sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. They also offer land-based activities, such as high roping and archery. Courses and camps for all ages are run throughout the summer. Quay Arts, meanwhile, has a programme of day and weekend workshops in art, ceramics and photography, and there is an excellent summer school programme. While staying at Lakeview Holiday Cottages, guests will be perfectly situated to visit many of County Clare’s most famous cultural and heritage attractions, such as Bunratty Castle, The Cliffs of Moher, and the Burren region. Killaloe is on Clare’s borders with counties Limerick and Tipperary, so it is also an ideal base for exploring this part of Ireland.
