The property provides superior four star self-catering accommodation within the Guest Wing ground floor apartment, which is ideal for couples, small groups and families and can be rented for weekends, midweek breaks or week long stays. There is also an additional upstairs apartment available with separate entrance for larger groups up to ten individuals. This beautifully presented Historic Country House is 5 minutes drive from Strandhill Beach with its fantastic walks and surfing and 5 minutes drive from Sligo town the cultural capital of the North West. It features cosy open fires and comfy beds – a real home from home. The downstairs apartment can accommodate up to five guests with one double bedroom with king size bed and a large room with double and single beds. The bathroom has a walk in shower and separate bath for those who love to unwind. Upstairs the additional apartment comprises a double bedroom and a room with double and single beds. Both apartments have large living rooms with sea views and fully kitted-out kitchens. We provide saorview and broadband. All bed rooms have sea views. A welcome pack awaits Guests with fresh milk, soda bread, butter and our own Free Range Eggs. Facing due south, Primrose Grange House enjoys fantastic panoramic sea views with beautiful sunrises and sunsets across Ballysadare Bay below. The walled courtyard garden offers guests a place to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine or to enjoy a barbecue and eat al fresco. Built in 1721, Primrose Grange House truly commands a stunning presence high up on Knocknarea Mountain with panoramic views over Ballysadare Bay and the Ox mountains. The very popular 45-minute walk up to Queen Maeve's tomb at the summit of Knocknarea is immediately behind the house.
