Keel River Lodge is a luxury self-catering house set on the shores of Lough Carra in Ballinrobe, County Mayo. The spacious house is 167 square kilometres and sits in a large enclosed landscaped garden that is safe for children to play in. The house is built in a traditional manner to provide a mix of old world charm with all modern conveniences. There are breathtaking views over the lake and the Partry Mountains, which can be seen from the upstairs lounge. On the ground floor of Keel River Lodge, guests will find a large kitchen and dining area, utility room with washer and dryer, bathroom and two bedrooms. Upstairs, there is a lovely lounge, bedroom and bathroom. The lodge’s facilities include TV, DVD player, dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker, radio and CD player. It also has oil-fired central heating and open fires to keep warm on chilly evenings. Keel River Lodge is an ideal accommodation for breaks that include angling, golf, walking, touring or simply relaxing by the beach. It is a great base for exploring Westport, Cong, Ballintubber, Knock and Galway. Additionally, the owner, a professional angling guide, lives nearby should guests need assistance.
