Oaklodge is a modern two storey house with panoramic views of the County Kerry countryside. The property is set in three quarters of an acre of secluded landscaped gardens on Valentia Island. The property features two ensuite bedrooms, 3 further bedrooms, a bathroom and a downstairs shower. This cosy house is heated by oil fired central heating and a solid fuel stove. The property has facilities for wheelchair users. Oaklodge boasts a splendid patio area with magnificent views and garden furniture. Barbeque facilities are available on request. Oaklodge is set in a very scenic location with spectacular sea and mountain views. It is the ideal location to base oneself and avail of the many scenic walks and drives in the surrounding area. Oaklodge is close to all major amenities and attractions in the area including the Skellig Experience Centre and boat trips to the famous Skellig Rock. Step back in time and visit the prehistoric tetrapod tracks, or take part in some water sports with the children. There are countless activities to keep you entertained including bicycle hire, horse riding, golf or swimming. Oaklodge is also ideal if you just want to laze about and read a book in the garden or in one of the many rest areas within the house. The local bar and restaurant is just 1 kilometre away and there are several other bars and restaurants within a 3 to 4 kilometres radius from the property.
