Magouhy House is situated in the heart of the scenic Burren area of County Clare. Found near Carran and the Burren National Park, it serves as an ideal accommodation for nature lovers and anyone touring the region. The house is a large, three-bedroom cottage decorated in a traditional style with all the facilities needed for a comfortable holiday. It has up-to-date electronics, including a 30-inch TV, DVD player, video, radio and free high speed Internet access. The house is also equipped with modern conveniences like washing and drying facilities, cooking facilities and food storage. Ample parking is available as well as outdoor furniture, a swing and play area. A babysitting service may be available on request. During their stay, guests can enjoy the flora and fauna of the Burren. They can also experience traditional music and set dancing in Corofin and Kilfenora, and will find golfing, water sports and the ferry to the Aran Islands in the Lahinch/Doolin area. Popular activities include cycling, walking and angling. Additionally, Magouhy House is just 15 minutes from local shops and a post office. The owner is very knowledgeable and is happy to share information about traditional music, festivals and set dancing venues in the area. A damage deposit may be required. A booking deposit is required for July/August bookings. Prices are negotiable and offers are regularly given.
