Glin Limerick - Ireland WestThe present Glin Castle was built in the 1780s. It stands on the banks of the River Shannon, and houses a famous collection of Irish furniture and paintings. Open to the public by appointment only for tours. Located on a five hundred acre estate, it is the ideal base for touring Southwest Ireland and for those interested in gardens, architecture, history and the decorative arts.
