Dromahair Leitrim - Ireland WestSituated on 11 acres of gardens, woodlands and lawns, Breffni Holiday Cottages offers 12 modern self-catering cottages on the outskirts of lovely Dromahair village, in County Leitrim. Located on the River Bonet and near Lough Gill, these properties in the North West of Ireland boast their own salmon and trout fishing rights on the River Bonet only 50m from your cottage. Or you might try your luck for pike on Lough Carrigeencor. These cottages also make a great base for walking and playing golf. In fact, there are five courses within a 30 minute drive of the properties. Guests will also enjoy the on-site restaurant and have access to amenities like shops, pubs and a pharmacy just two minutes away. The ruins of an old castle tower over eight traditional cottages surrounding a furnished patio. These houses have a living room, modern kitchen, one or two showers and toilets. There are also three bedrooms, one double and two singles (except for one house which has two doubles and one twin). All the houses are suited for up to six people and one is specially designed to accommodate wheelchairs. Four cottages stand on the other side of the park. These have a living room, toilet, shower, modern kitchen and a bedroom for two people. All of the cottages are comfortably decorated and include a fireplace, central heating and multi-channel TV. Linen and towels are included but heating and electricity will be extra. Pets are welcome. The cottages are within a short drive of the Voya Seaweed Baths in Strandhill, Sligo; The Hawks Well Theatre in Sligo Town; Achill Island; Connemara; and Yeats Country. Guests can enjoy nearby sightseeing views of Knocknarea, Benbulben, O’Rourke’s Table, Glencar Lake with its waterfall, the megalithic tombs of Carrowmore, and the recently restored Parke’s Castle on the shore of Lough Gill and its famous Lake Isle of Innisfree.
