Avalon House is an ideal budget accommodation for travellers wishing to explore all of Dublin City’s cultural and historical offerings. The hostel is located in the heart of the city centre, just west of the lovely St Stephen’s Green and in walking distance of Grafton Street, Trinity College and the lively Temple Bar neighbourhood. The hostel caters to groups of all sizes. It has a variety of rooms, such as 12-person dorms, six- and four-person rooms, singles and twins, with ensuite or shared facilities. Rates include bed linen, breakfast, WiFi, walking tours, maps and bus transfer. The property also has a large self-catering kitchen, game room, cinema room, luggage storage, phone/battery charging, bicycle storage and laundry facilities. Avalon House is home to the famous Bald Barista Café, which serves some of Dublin’s best espresso. It is also one of the only hostels in Ireland that uses wind and solar energy.
