The Lake House is a friendly family run country pub nestled between the mountains, lakes and the sea on the spectacular Beara Peninsula. With Failte Ireland approved guest accommodation, good food, boats and fly fishing on Clonee Lakes you are guaranteed a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. The Lake House is located 14km from the award-winning heritage town of Kenmare, County Kerry. The Lake House is a perfect base from which to explore the unspoiled surrounding countryside and is very popular for hillwalkers and cyclists offering an exceptional range of activities. The Lake House bedrooms are traditional, comfortable, with views of the Lake and Mountains. There are double and twin rooms plus a single room. Three rooms have shared bath/shower. Evening meals and packed lunches are available, as is storage for bikes and drying facilities. There is off-road parking and complimentary tea/coffee on arrival. The Tuosist area offers excellent lake and river fishing, there are marked seashore sites, hill walking, cycling, golf, horse-riding from local stables, watersports, archaeological sites, stone circles, alignments and gallaunts.
