Introduction

Shake away those cobwebs and imagine the cool water bubbling around Bobby and Carol as they splash into this Mourneside waterfall. Still on the waterfront, Kerry men Joe and Des kayak across the lakeside to isolated but beautiful Church Island. Back on dry land (well almost), and our Londonderry sisters Pauline and Ros head to the beach, where Pauline goes for a gallop along white golden sands...Throw in some serene angling, leisurely cycling, a stroll in the hills and, It’s got to be said, the island of Ireland is a world-class playground for outdoor pursuits. As they say in the film, ‘this is what dreams are made of.’
