Enniskillen Fermanagh - Northern Ireland

In the grounds of an old estate, this magnificent course is renowned for its manicured lawns, undulating fairways, thousands of trees and its particularly challenging water hazards and bunkers, which discerning golfers will adore. The views over Lower Lough Erne are pretty special, too, although you may not want to divert your attention from the game in hand too much!

Belvoir Park Golf Club

Highly rated by top players, it’s little changed since its original 1927 design

Carlow Golf Club

A former wild deerpark is the setting for one of this club’s two inland courses. The sandy soil here drains easily and means good year round play.

Ireland’s golfing heroes

Philomena Garvey won the British Ladies Amateur Golf Championship in 1957, at Gleneagles and was a finalist on four other occasions.
