Cloghane —County Kerry
Cloghane (An Clochán) is situated at the south-western extremity of Brandon Bay, below the eastern slopes of the lofty Brandon Mountains. It is an excellent base for climbing the Brandon peaks and ridge. The village has a fine beach about 400m (1/4 ml) long.
The village plays host to Féile Lughnasa each year, celebrating the ancient Celtic Harvest Festival.
