Ballinrobe —County Mayo

Ballinrobe (Baile an Roba) is situated on the River Robe at the heart of the lake district of South Mayo, within easy reach of the angling waters of Mask, Carra and Corrib.
Ballinrobe Castle (situated where the ruins of Cavalry Barracks stand today down by Bowers'Walk) was built by the de Burgos during this period.
