Bantry Cork - Ireland SouthThe cottage, reputedly the oldest in Bantry, is detached and situated on Old Barrack Road, which runs parallel and above the main road to Glengarriff. Old Barrack Road is steep and narrow in parts and carries little traffic. Bantry Town centre is only a five minute walk away, the shops in Glengarriff Road, which include an organic store, a restaurant and a shop where bicycles can be hired and repaired, are even closer. This is a sensitively renovated stone - built cottage, with new doors, floors, roof and windows. The large kitchen diner has a dishwasher, oven, hob, washing machine and Stanley traditional range cooker. The spacious living room has windows at both ends and an open fire. There are three bedrooms, two double and one single. The bathroom has a large cast iron bath and a shower. There is an attractive patio and a roof terrace and a garage accessed from the road.
