The WAR: Wicklow Adventure Race Glenmalure combines two of the most iconic cycles in Wicklow - Shay Elliott and Slieve Mann. Couple this with two spectacular runs, Kirakee Mountain and Croaghanmoira Mountain, and finish up with a dip in a river and a muddy obstacle course; and you are bound to feel great about yourself. Glenmalure is part of a three race series; the two other locations are Glendalough and Powerscourt. Distances: WAR – 17.5km run, 41km cycle and river run & 300m obstacle course; and Sport – 10km run, 19km cycle and river run & 300m obstacle course Disciplines: run, cycle, obstacle course. Distances: WAR-Sport 29km and WAR-59km options
