Now in its fourth year, the hugely successful Midsummers Run around Killruddery House & Gardens attracted 400 participants in 2012. You have the choice of taking part in the 5K or 10K runs. The trail course starts in front of majestic Killruddery House, which is one of Ireland's most successful Elizabethan-Revival mansions. After snaking around the stunning gardens, you begin a gradual climb up towards the Little Sugar Loaf Mountain, with breath-taking views of farmland rolling down into Dublin Bay on your left. Everything that goes up must come down so you then negotiate a tricky descent and run past the stunning cottage, shoot location for Hollywood movie PS I Love You, based on Cecilia Ahern's award-winning novel. The final section of the course brings you back towards the main house, finishing up where you started on the lawns in front of the grand old building. Date to be confirmed
