Camogie
Camogie wordt door vrouwen met dezelfde hartstocht en inzet gespeeld als hurling door hun mannelijke tegenhangers
Niet alleen mannen genieten van de inspanningen en de beloningen van Ierlands eigen sporten. Gaelic football (een uiterst populaire sport in Ierland) wordt ook door vrouwen gespeeld en Camogie is de vrouwelijke versie van hurling – hoewel de regels iets anders zijn.
De sport gaat officieel terug tot 1904, en de keiharde wedstrijden worden hartstochtelijk gespeeld tegen een decor van honderden enthousiaste supporters.
