De baan van Adare Golf Club bij het landhuis Adare Manor is ontworpen door Trent Jones Senior. De baan, met een lengte van 6527 meter vanaf de wedstrijd-tees, heeft een moderne lay-out en ligt in een prachtig oud park. Er zijn drie meren, waarvan er één een oppervlakte heeft van 5,7 hectare en een rol speelt bij maar liefst vier holes. Het hoogtepunt is de 18de en laatste hole – een geweldige test. De rivier de Maigue loopt langs deze hele hole voordat hij de green afsnijdt van de fairway en een huiveringwekkende aanloop vormt naar deze green, met het imposante Adare Manor op de achtergrond. In 2007 heeft Adare Golf Club de Irish Open georganiseerd en ook in 2008 en 2009 wordt het evenement hier gehouden.
