Aperto ad ottobre 1984, Tralee Golf Course e’ stat oil primo campo in Europa disegnato da Arnold Palmer. Quando egli vide per la prima volta l’area in cui la sua azienda voleva costruire il links golf di Tralee, egli ne fu entusiasta. "Sono felice di poter dire che qui ci troviamo di fronte ad uno dei migliori campi links al mondo”. Il links di Barrow e’ un ottovolante di dune di sabbia. Perfide trappole e green ondulati sono tra le principali sfide di questo links. Splendide le buche 12 e 17, su tee innalzati con vista sull’Oceano Atlantico. La spiaggia a fianco della 2 buca venne usata come set cinematografico per il film premio Oscar La Figlia di Ryan. Un campo dove non potrai non tornare!
