Royal Portrush Golf Links si presenta con ondulati fairway che si fanno strada tra colline e parkland. Un’esperienza di ricordare - nel 1951 il campo divenne l’unico links in Irlanda ad ospitare i British Open. Ci sono storia e ricordi qui, ma probabilmente la maggior parte gira intorno alla 205 iarda del par 3 ‘Calamity Corner’ alla 14. Un alto tee, un alto green, una destra difficile, un profondo abisso a sinistra, il vento del mare che si insinua – immagina il tiro, guarda di fronte a te verso sinistra del green e fallo partire – emozione unica!
