Kilcock —County Kildare
Kilcock is a picturesque town situated on the banks of the Royal Canal. It is home to the Larchill Arcadian Gardens, which includes 25 Hectares, gothic and classical follies, a walled garden and a lake. Kilcock also offers the visitor a wide choice of things to do with two golf courses, tennis courts, squash courts, angling and horse riding facilities nearby. The old bog road which is 4.5km west from Kilcock on the main N4 was the subject of poets Teresa Braydon song. Poet Teresa Braydon came from this area.
